Join us for a peaceful prayer of hope for Ukraine. This service is welcome to all, and will be organized by the following local churches:
Sts. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church: One of the oldest Ukrainian Catholic parishes in Cleveland, founded in 1909 and historically the “mother church” for Ukrainian Catholics in the region.
St. Andrew Ukrainian Catholic Church: Ukrainian Catholic parish located in Parma, Ohio.
Pokrova Ukrainian Catholic Church: Also known as Protection of the Mother of God Ukrainian Catholic Church in Parma.
St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral: The cathedral of the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Saint Josaphat in Parma (the diocesan seat).
Our churches gather in solidarity to pray for Ukraine — to pray for its people, for those who suffer, and especially for the children. Together, we lift our voices to God, asking for mercy and protection. O God, grant us the strength to confront and overcome evil.
When: Sunday, February 22, 4:00 pm
Where: Pokrova Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, 6812 Broadview Rd, Parma, OH 44134
