MEDICAL AID SHIPMENTS
Working with the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and the Ministry of Health, we try to fulfill aid requests and get the necessary supplies to the places that need it the most. Since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, the Cleveland Maidan Association has:
sent more than 320,000 pounds of medical supplies and other humanitarian aid to Ukraine
purchased and sent 420 trauma first-aid kits to first responders on the front lines
spent over $145,000 in medical aid purchases, for everything from gauze to tourniquets to insulin
financed the purchase of 24 ambulances or other rescue vehicles
funded two manufacturing facilities in Western Ukraine that produce first aid kit bags, stretchers, and thermal sleeping bags
To date, all donations have been sent through the following: Meest Express, Dnipro, LLC., Ukraine Express, Nova Poshta, Universal Shipping, Atlantic Express Corp. (either by air or by sea). The shipping route is as follows: Cleveland, OH -> Newark, NJ -> Poland -> Ukraine.
